  • GREAT INTERVIEW

What a wonderful interview with a real experienced man and a success story. Everything this man said should be taken to heart by all moroccans, the ones living in the USA and the ones planning on someday coming here. This is truly a great country where one can reach ones potential and succeed, where the opportunities are abondant and available to dedicated and hard working ones. prepare yourself to assimilate and embrace the culture, prepare yourself to work hard and forget the mediocre 7 or 8 hours work life we have home, people here work 12hrs or more and don’t complain, prepare to accept and respect the others, their names, origins, religions and sexual orientation. don’t settle for little jobs for too long, reach out to the stars, in the USA, they are much closer than you think, make this man’s experience your text book and you won’t be disappointed American people are truly wonderful people and love to learn from others, I lived with them for 30 years, and finally, drop all the bullshit we have home and be proud “EVERY DAY” of your history and of who you are, american people might not say it to you, but they don’t like people who come here and try to abandon their identity, as they know you’re a weak person, a fake one!

One thing I noticed is that this man lived all his life outside of Morocco and he teaches French literature and yet he is able to have a full conversation in Arabic without using a single English or French word! Something to think about for those back home in Morocco who like to speak French thinking that it's making them seem more educated or belonging to a higher class.

  • GREAT INTERVIEW 2

    My dear friend Si Hicham,
You see, you went directly to this man’s religion, wether you’re right or not, why are you even talking about his religion? and what if he were a Jew? he’s a Moroccan man like you and me. and who said working at pizerria, driving taxi or cleaning homes is not respectable? I said the opposite, I said the sky is the limit, and that’s because I know how smart and bright moroccans young people are, and I encouraged them not to be satisfied and aim higher. the majority of my colleagues at work are my friends, men and women, I go to their houses and I know they’re kids and families, many have visited Morocco because of what I tell them about it, and they love everything about Morocco.
keep your cool my friend, no one will hate or marginalise you if you’re willing to be part of life in this great country, if you do not succeed in this country, look within yourself for real reasons, I assure you, American people are not the reason. Peace Brother!

    Greetings from US
Interesting interview very telling revealing and eye opening I came to America years back and I consider myself a very successful story I did all kinds of jobs but I always thought about finishing my schooling So I did Today I am a professional well integrated and leading a productive life I have a huge number of friends who did the same like myself and others went on a different direction But the truth is that life is two paths in a dark forest One is supposed to lead the enlightened one i.e. Stay out of trouble be focused avoid bad company set goals and the rest is easy to come by
The US is the land of opportunity and realization of dreams it is a fact not a mirage I live comfortably but not somebody who has been seeking accumulation of wealth which is the real mirage

  • GREAT INTERVIEW

My advice to moroccans who want to immigrate to the US, make sure you have advanced degrees and when you settle, make sure you have many kids because having one or 2 kids in the US is very tough on the kids, make sure you have 3 or 4.

Also, make sure you are willing to reconcile your moroccan conservative islamo-arabo-amzigho culture with the freedom in the US, for instance, if you disagree with homosexuality, don't go to the US, if you tolerate it, you can go to the US, because one day, your kids' teacher or doctor or sport coach or boss may be gay and you may not like it and that will create problems

Instead of telling moroccans to build their own jobs and future and not chasing dead dreams and sick lies and scams he tries to positively injecting that america is the future and people mislead themselves ..why the west is using us like its slaves..why they are smarter than us..today you can be whatever you want at home we have books internet and food back home..I have seen Chinese engineers working fixing things for americans like cranes and softwares ,I believe we re chasing jobs and that is the main problem and no body is gonna pay you anymore what you think will make you fit..richness comes after smartness and Americans teach people in order to use them for their own profits ..Are are worshipping wrong god?why islam is starving its own citizens.. American take all the money back they pay you through their system,it's impossible to save something..building jobs and brains is the solutions for morocco….American make your brain bigger .
