Some times we blame ourselves for keeping other people destroy the reputation of our country . It is great to hear you say all these things. however, I want you to wear positive attitude glasses so as to see things as they are. To change things positively you need ages, to destroy you need a moment . To act in the right way is not easy; But to criticize is our cup of tea. I agree with you Mr :there are so many things that go wrong in Morocco but still it is on the right track

What's the point? If you are a looser, what else you would do? You don't have any credintial to preach about democracy, and freedome. Beside, the definition of democracy Vs, freedome is well defined and you probably need to look up that definition. You better off cmplaint to the world about your own problems with the government insted of being disguised to this level. This is simply about your promoting your self body, but you are not going any where.

I really congratulate you for this great presentation, our country needs more people like you to get to the change needed. I think the major obstacle that prevent our country from being a real democracy is the ignorance.
the late king Hassan II ( may Allah bless him) was too concerned about his monarchy and the way he could keep it away from any sweeping change to the extent that he did not make any effort to educate people and the result was an over-obeying "yes" servants.

You clearly made the point Mr. Benchamsi. You went straight forward to our suffering, which is the king. M6 has to either pick his people or his corrupt entourage; he cannot be with both at the same time. Time is running and the reproduction of dictatorship in a much sophisticated fashion will not end the game. It's true 60 % of Moroccans are ignorants, but Al Makhzan should understand that there's a powerful and very intellectual segment of Moroccans who are capable of defending their people.

  • SECULARISM EXSPOSED

Benchemsi belongs to the secular group in Morocco which represent a tiny portion of moroccans… if not hundreds. this secular school of thought has been manifesting itself in both his magazines the french and the arabic. Now that we see everybody is jumping to ride this wind of change, which is not a bad idea. The trouble starts when certain groups take aim at leading this wind according to their agendas. Nice presentation, but no thanks… I am not biting on that.

Outstanding benchamssi you're fearless, either when you were in morocco or not. our people has filled up with fear and intimidation and thought the leader is always right and above all authorities and he's its saviour. so it'must show its love so they think that they 're free and they 're not forced to do anything. furthermore moroccans always trust him unlike the governemnt but the prblem is the gov does what the king tell it to do. if you want to make things right start from THE TOP.

As you stated many times, long story short, You're a sarcastic bad loser
It's all about your ego, you lost your Nichane magazine because of your miss management and you're blaming the government
Shame on you, your despising the Moroccan people for loving their king by miss judging them
You miss quoted the prime minister with a phrase that wasn't expressed after the election
You inflated the number of contestants, by stating handreds of thousands
I'm glad you're not representing me brother

During the French & Spanish occupations there were many Moroccan traitors working against Morocco from within & now unfortunately there are many so called "intellectual" traitors that spend their time and efforts in destroying their country's reputation from outside thinking they re smarter than the rest of all Moroccan citizens & worse than that insulting our intelligence and love for the country and King…MRB is an enemy as he attests how bad he hates Morocco by making fun of all of us

Ok!Since you are a researcher at Stanford University and a journalist which means pretty educated like you wanted to show from your way of talking and moving on the stage during your speech, tell us what would be a perfect political model in a country where Islam is the religion?Does democracy mean, according to some of your previous perspectives in Nichan and Telquel, allow people eat in public in Ramadan and gays get married between them?Morocco is on the right track now and needs our support.

it's true soon or later all the change will come from the Moroccans immigrants cuz all these immigrants are well educated, and they will found voice outside of Morocco far from AL makhzens,it's truly Morocco has to follow the Turkish style and make a cut with the past dictatorship, this will make MOROCCO prevents so much troubles in the future, majority of Moroccans are nationalists ,they want to see a better MORROCO.

Ok M. "Just Passing" who thinks that cursing people or putting them down is a part of freedom then democracy.Have you ever read some of his articles in Nichan and Telquel?Or are you just the devil's advocate?Nobody says that Morocco is a perfect country but when things start improving we need to be more supportive and keep the right of fighting for better life. The concessions made by the king come from people's pressure and this in itself is an improvement. I may be wrong but just respect it.

the king and his family are destroying the country, stelling everything, making millions of poors and slaves in their country. Morocco has been before Alawiyeene and will stay after them, when the country will be free and establish a real modern political system based on democracy, justice and islam. As far as the numbers you gave, you made me laugh – Don't you know that not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted as enough research will tend to support whatever theory.
